2024 has been an amazing year for romance books. While I've personally read less than I have in years, the love for the romance genre hasn't waned in the slightest and there were so many great releases this past year.

Year after year, there are so many great romances that fall under the radar and because of that, I wanted to share some romances you should pick up before the year ends. If anything, it'll be the push you need to finish 2024 strong.

No matter what tropes you enjoy, you should be able to find something you'll enjoy on this list. If you're wondering about debut romances, that's an upcoming post so be sure to come back and see some romance debuts from 2024 we loved.

With that being said, these are some romance books from 2024 that deserve more love before the year ends.

These 2024 romance releases fell under the radar this year.

1. No One Does It Like You by Katie Shepard

The first romance on the list is No One Does It Like You by Katie Shepard. This is a second-chance romance between a divorced couple who reconnect under some unlikely circumstances. We meet Rose who enlists her ex-husband, Tom to help her renovate her family's B&B in time for the holidays and from there, we learn more about how their relationship fell apart and their feelings towards each other.

Even though this book came out in September, it has less than 500 ratings on Goodreads. That's so sad as this book absolutely nails the second-chance romance trope. It's clear the chemistry between Rose and Tom never went away. While this one might not be for everyone, No One Does It Like You is a great one to pick up if you're looking for a romance to cuddle up with.

2. Worst in Show by Anna E. Collins

Another underrated romance from 2024 is Worst in Show by Anna E. Collins. If you aren't sucked in by the adorable cover, then let us tempt you to pick it up. This story follows Cora who works with her grandfather at his pet store and she's trying to get her life together while doing it. However, plans change when a rival business owned by Leo opens across the street and Cora immediately assumes he's trying to put them out of business.

To try to save her grandpa's store, she decides to enter a dog show and so does Leo. While this is a solid romance, it also feels like a love letter to pet parents, finding your place, and even has a slight nod to You've Got Mail which is something all romance lovers can appreciate.

3. A Legend in the Baking by Jamie Wesley

Next up is a recent release and that's A Legend in the Baking by Jamie Wesley. If you have a sweet tooth, then you're sure to enjoy the Sugar Blitz series. This is the second book in the series and we're following August, one of the NFL players/co-owners of the cupcake shop. He becomes a viral sensation after he rants at a customer and he becomes Sugar Bae.

To try to capitalize on it, Sloane comes in to help the brand's socials who is the little sister of Donovan from Fake It Till You Bake It. While this book does have its predictable moments, it's such a sweet and fun story that you won't be able to put it down. Plus there is just something about NFL players who co-own a bakery that is just so delightful. If you want something sweet and fun, then A Legend in the Baking is a great one to read before the year ends.

4. Isabel and the Rogue by Liana De la Rosa

The final romance making the list is Isabel and the Rogue by Liana De la Rosa. This is the second book in the Luna Sisters series and we're following the next Luna sibling: Isabel. While Isabel seems like a wallflower, she's actually cunning and on a mission to help Mexico. Things get even more intense when her brother-in-law's friend, Sirius ends up deciding to help her and from there, it's an action-packed story.

While this book has the most ratings of the entire list, it deserves much more. Liana De la Rosa wrote two compelling characters you can't help but want to root for. There's so much mutual pining and want packed into these pages which is something we all love in a good romance. I also appreciated that De la Rosa didn't take the obvious route with the ending as it will surprise you with how these two end up together. Overall if you haven't picked this one up yet, you're truly missing out.

There were so many great romance books released in 2024 with these four being underrated gems but we'd love to know some romances you think flew under the radar. You can share them via our Facebook page as we'd love to know!
