Ashley Skolrud

Ashley Skolrud has been a bookworm from the moment she learned how to read. From that point on, she's been a lover of stories. With an MFA in Creative Writing and 11 years of teaching English under her belt, she is still as passionate about the written word as she was when she first discovered books. In addition to writing ABOUT books, her first novel "The Witching Hour" was published in September 2023!

I enjoy writing and linguistics. I hope to contribute positively to my surroundings by engaging in acts of kindness and embracing creative solutions. I live in Texas with my husband and dog and enjoy being a mom to my two beautiful daughters. I recently embarked on a personal journey and recirved my Associates in Science of Psychology.

Joel is a life long sports and entertainment fan and has spent 14 years covering the NFL, MLB, college basketball, and college football, as well as TV, movies, books, and music as a writer, editor, and sports and entertainment director. He also coaches basketball and bowling for Special Olympics.

A native of Massachusetts, she was educated at Brigham Young University. She has been a contributor and editor for Front Row Reviewers for six years, but is also a traditionally published author of books and short stories ranging from modern fairy tales to the first missionaries in space. By day, she works as a case manager for a disability firm, but she moonlights as a Professor Umbridge cosplayer, volunteers as a crisis counselor, self-cares with Red Sox games, and writes altogether too much Transformers fanfiction. She makes her home in the Merrimack Valley with her piano, overflowing bookshelves, and many imaginary friends for her next book.

Natalie Zamora is the VP of Entertainment Content at FanSided. With her degree from Rutgers University, where she majored in English and minored in Cinema Studies, she has eight years of professional writing experience. Though her passions include a variety of topics, she is particularly knowledgeable in films, prestige TV (HBO all day everyday), horror, and celebrity gossip. As part of the Minute Media team, her work can be found on Winter is Coming, Netflix Life, Show Snob, Mental Floss, and other sites. Along with her specialized knowledge in entertainment, she leads, inspires, and contributes to FanSided's growth and success in her role. On any given weekend, you can find her at the movie theater.

Rebecca Mills is the site expert at Culturess and a contributor at Hidden Remote, Dog O'Day, and I Prefer Reading. She's been part of the FanSided team since 2016 and has contributed many articles during her time at FanSided. She has previously written for NFL Spin Zone and SportsAsToldByAGirl. When she's not writing, she can either be found reading a romance book, watching Bob's Burgers or listening to the Jonas Brothers and Taylor Swift.
