It is finally December, which means it is the perfect time to put together a holiday TBR full of festivities and swoon-worthy winter romance. Even if the holidays aren’t your favorite time of the year, who doesn’t love curling up with a cozy blanket, a hot cup of tea, and a cheesy little romance read that may or may not be predictable from the very start? Here is a list of five holiday reads to warm you up this holiday season.

1. Lovelight Farms by B.K Borison

If you like friends-to-lovers AND fake-dating, this is the book for you! Lovelight Farms follows Stella, a Christmas tree farm owner who is struggling to keep her business afloat. When a contest hosted by a social media influencer presents the chance to win $ 100,000, Stella knows it’s the perfect opportunity to save the tree farm. The only problem is that she lies on her application, claiming to own the farm with her boyfriend—which she doesn’t actually have. She asks the only person she knows will say yes—her best friend, Luka. Definitely swoon-worthy and featuring some incredible side characters, this is the perfect cozy holiday read!

2. Tis the Season for Revenge by Morgan Elizabeth

For fans of Legally Blonde and grumpy/sunshine, Tis the Season for Revenge follows Abbie, a heartbroken woman who was dumped by her lawyer boyfriend for not being “serious enough”. In a plot to make her ex jealous and come running back, she does what any sane woman would do and starts dating his boss, Damien. Her plans quickly begin to fall sideways when she realizes that her and Damien actually have a lot of chemistry and she starts to see his sweet and charming personality shine through. This sweet and spicy holiday rom-com is a great addition to any holiday TBR.

3. How My Neighbor Stole Christmas by Meghan Quinn

In this romantic enemies-to-lovers retelling of The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Storee moves in with her aunt Cindy to care for her, and she is determined to win the annual Christmas Kringle contest in her aunt's honor. Her neighbor, however, has other plans. Cole Black—who hates Christmas—doesn’t like that a new resident is vying for the crown, so he makes sure to get in her way at all costs—even if it means entering the contest himself. Meghan Quinn never misses in her rom-coms, and this little Christmas book is no exception!

4. Christmas in Coconut Creek by Karissa Kinword

If you’re looking for a spicier holiday read, Christmas in Coconut Creek follows Ophelia, who decides to take a vacation to get away from the drama of her toxic family. A first meet-cute on the plane leads to a steamy friends-with-benefits deal: Ophelia will teach Frankie—a retired military man—how to date a woman, and he will teach her everything she wants to know in the bedroom. Featuring the perfect balance of spice, heartwarming romance, and the realities of life, this is a great holiday read to add to your TBR.

5. The Twelve Dates of Christmas by Jenny Bayliss

For readers looking for a funny and lighthearted romance to add to their list of holiday reads, this may be the book for you. Kate has given up on love completely and decided she is perfectly content in her career and doesn’t need romance. Her best friend takes it upon himself to sign her up for a dating agency that requires her to go on twelve dates but promises she’ll find love somewhere along the journey. With each date proving to be worse than the last, Kate doubts she’ll find the love she was promised until she begins to wonder if the love she wants has been right in front of her the whole time. Full of cozy winter vibes and romance, The Twelve Dates of Christmas will definitely have you losing track of time.
