Elle Thorpe’s world of Saint View continues to grow in ways we never expected. And there is no denying that each addition to the series just add a little something extra. Whether you are talking about the relationships or the spice, there is something to be said about how each story plays out. It never feels repetitive, and each romance is definitely its own relationship (even with a quad relationship).
It’s not like when you read some series and it feels very cut and paste. Each one of these Saint View books is its own story. You can’t go back to a different Saint View series, and find exactly what you’re reading in this one. However, I do love how interconnected this world is. I love that we have siblings, finding love, friends who are getting what they’ve always wanted, and relationships that we never saw coming.
I have to say that the very best thing that BookTok ever gave me was the world of Saint View. And Saint View Slayers Vs Sinners is another amazing addition to this world and these characters.
Saint View Slayers Vs Sinners is a spicy trilogy with drama, heartache and action
I will admit that I took a long time before starting this new trilogy. This trilogy of books has been out for a little while. The first book was released in August 2024. The second book came out in September and of course, the final book came out in October. These books were staggered so you didn’t have to wait that long to read the complete story arc. But I still waited. I waited for all three books to be released, and then I waited a little bit longer because I knew that I was going to completely fall into these stories.
What I did not expect was the slow-burn aspect of the romance. These characters have already been established, except for one, that we meet in this series. And the relationship is such a slow burn, that we don’t really see any movement in the direction of these guys becoming a quad until the second book. Yes, there are positive signs towards relationships in the first book, but it really isn’t until the second book that we truly see things starting to form and come together.
Usually, that would frustrate me. However, there is so much going on in these books and with these characters, that it all makes sense. It actually works. And yet, there is plenty of spice and heat. This is a story that grows organically. It makes sense that people aren’t jumping into bed because of what’s happening in the books. But when they do come together, it’s all about the sparks. It is heat and sensuality and raw energy.
Each one of these characters is fascinating. They are very unique. And yet they all somehow work together as a unit. When I was first introduced to Elle Thorpe’s writing thanks to BookTok, I immediately fell in love with her characters. And then I devoured every one of her books. And I have found that I have not yet been disappointed. So in the case of TikTok and their book recommendations, this author is a complete win. At least she is for me.
Saint View Slayers vs Sinners is a why choose romance trilogy that really does bring the heat. Yes there are trigger warnings in this book. There are moments that are hard to read. But at the end of the day, this trilogy is so well done that we can’t wait for our next visit to Saint View.
