Valentine's Day is a day for celebrating the one you love and if you're single, it's a great day to pick up a romance book.

That's why I had to recommend Know Your Newlywed by Hillary Nussbaum and Heather Taylor. As an audio novella, this is the ultimate pick if you're craving something short, sweet, and a little bit different from what everyone else is reading.

Before getting into the book's storyline, this one is a unique read because it's currently only on audio and it features a full cast. Basically, that means that every single character has their own narrator and it's also full of so many great sound effects. Honestly, this is one I read during a snow day and it kept me entertained as it felt like it was playing out right in front of me.

Additionally, Know Your Newlywed has two very famous voices playing its main character. Cleo is voiced by Mary Mouser who we know from Netflix's Cobra Kai. Javi is voiced by Tyler Posey who is from MTV's Teen Wolf. If that's not enough to make you want to pick it up, I don't know what else will.

Make Valentine's Day plans with Know Your Newlywed.

Know Your Newlywed follows Cleo who is fed up with dating but ends up going on a dating app while visiting Chicago. Eventually, she stumbles upon Javi and it's clear that the two have an immediate connection as they both love Know Your Newlywed. If you couldn't figure it out, it's basically a take on The Newlywed Game where newly married couples answer questions about each other in order to win the game and get prizes along the way.

While their love for the show does fuel the story, Know Your Newlywed is just as much about Javi and Cleo learning about each other. Even though these two aren't married, they end up having to pretend to be able to get on the reboot of Know Your Newlywed. While these two are learning about each other, so are we. We're finding out their likes, dislikes, and everything a partner should know about them. That's such a unique and interesting format to give us more info about these two so I applaud these authors for that.

Additionally, it's so interesting to learn more about Cleo and Javi's history. These two have dealt with so much as kids and now, carry it with them as adults. Their stories are bolstered by Mouser and Posey's performances as well. Hearing the emotion in their voices takes this romance to an entirely different level. No matter if you've watched anything these actors have ever been in or not, you'll want to after listening to this.

Know Your Newlywed is sweet and funny, making it the ultimate rom-com. If you're a gameshow fan, you'll love it. If you need a fun romance to add to your Valentine's Day TBR, then you'll enjoy this. This novella is truly so much fun and one you won't soon forget.
