With series often being a commitment, its always interesting to reflect on which ones I'm drawn to. What usually comes to mind are fantasy series, but as I've branched out to read more genres, I've discovered a lot of great works. I'm sharing a list of series that are getting a new book added.
The good news is that most of the series already have releases already, so there's so much to dig into already!
These are popular series, which you may see online or in stores that sell books. The other tie is that the tone of these series can be lighthearted and are thematically rooted in discovery and change. If you like the best of both worlds, then this list is for you!
Emily Wilde
The series follows academic researcher, Emily Wilde, as she investigates the world of faeries. Over the course of the first two novels, her field notes shows her personal and professional discoveries. These also begin to shift her perspective and bring other characters into perspective. Emily Wilde's Compendium of Lost Tales is the third book in the Emily Wilde Series, and releases on February 11.
Ruinous Love Trilogy
Comedic dark romance? The Ruinous Love Trilogy follows serial killers who also happen to fall in love. The series is dark and funny, with three-dimensional and interesting characters. The male leads also happen to be brothers, book three follows Fionn, and his love interest Rose. Scythe & Sparrow also comes out on February 11.
Rebel Blue Ranch
The great thing about a series is that the characters become familiar before their book. The Rebel Blue Ranch series follows siblings as they navigate personal challenges and other opportunities that present crossroads for each character. Book 4 is a second chance romance seeing Cam and Dusty back in each other's once again. Wild and Wrangled releases on April 15.
Shatter Me
The Shatter Me series is a beloved TikTok YA series released primarily in the 2010s. A dystopian novel, we follow Juliette Ferrars as forces take command over her powers, which sets a fire in her to reclaim her power and put a stop to this world order. Watch Me is the first book in a spinoff series, still being set in the Shatter Me world with familiar characters. It releases on April 15.
Love in Galway
While only one release so far, Morbidly Yours, the Love in Galway series features romances set in Galway, Ireland. It's transportive to the location, with insights into language and culture. The main focus of Book 1, though, is on the themes of healing and self-discovery that make the romance that much more satisfying. Heart Strings is expected to be released on August 12.
Please note that some of these release dates may be subject to change.
