On September 17, Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty will give us a new look at Hillary Clinton. Considering this is the 11th book that Clinton has published, one might be wondering what makes this memoir different from her previous work.

In this case, we are looking at a book that is both political and personal in nature. Not only will it give us her thoughts on getting older, her marriage to former president Bill Clinton, and friendship, but it will also do a bit of a deep dive into her thoughts on such political topics as the 2024 election, which is set for 11 weeks after the book releases.

According to the Washington Post, a news release from the book's publisher, Simon & Schuster, revealed that there are several fascinating topics addressed in the memoir. And the stories will be told in a way that people have come to expect from Clinton. Not only will it be a more personal book, but it will give us her insights in a way that is witty, engaging, at times self-deprecating, and of course candid. While Hillary Clinton has no problem bringing her sense of humor to the pages of Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty, this is still a serious work.

Hillary Clinton's latest book, Something Lost, Something Gained: Reflections on Life, Love, and Liberty, is set to release in September

Although her previous memoir detailed both the lead-up and the aftermath of her failed presidential campaign in 2016, this new one will cover different times throughout her life. So while we may have seen glimpses into who Hillary Clinton is before now, this memoir feels a bit more all-encompassing.

In a lot of ways, this feels like a more in-depth look at Hillary Clinton's thoughts and life. Who she is as a person, as a wife, and as a politician is what makes this memoir seem like it might end up being a best seller.

As a bonus for people who listen to their books on audio, it turns out that Clinton will also be the narrator for the memoir, although there is no word on whether the audiobook will be released at the same time as the print version of the book. That being said, we are looking forward to hearing her tell her story in her own voice.

What do you think fellow readers? Are we looking forward to a new memoir from Hillary Clinton? Do you think this new book will give us something new to appreciate about the former first lady?
