On September 23, So You Think You Can Dance's Allison Holker announced her upcoming book via a post on Instagram. She shared a picture of the cover, while also giving a bit of a glimpse into what readers can expect from her story.

The book, which is titled This Far: My Story of Love, Loss, and Embracing the Light, is set to be released in February 2025. And in this book, we will finally get a more personal glimpse into not only who Allison Holker is, but what her life has been like through the years, including her relationship with Stephen "Twitch" Boss before his untimely death via suicide.

From gaining fame at 18 on So You Think You Can Dance to becoming a working mother, to finding love with Twitch and having children together, and then to his death and the aftermath of it all, Holker plans to tell her story in her own words. This memoir sounds like it has every intention of breaking our hearts, while also showcasing the resilience and strength of Holker and her children.

In the post she made on Instagram, Holker shared that this book is "a chronicle of resilience, embracing change, and finding light even in the darkest corners of our lives. It’s about my dance journey, my love story with Stephen, and the unforeseen grief that followed."

If you are long time fan of both Holker and Boss, then this memoir sounds like it may just be a must read when it is released. This is our chance to learn more about who Holker is and the life she is embracing after the death of her husband in 2022. In many ways, this is her journey to healing and we are getting the chance to experience that in her own words.
