Jennifer Love Hewitt shows off her upcoming book in emotional post on Instagram

On September 25, Jennifer Love Hewitt took to Instagram to share a very emotional post. In that post, we got to see our very first look at her upcoming book, Inheriting Magic: My Journey Through Grief, Joy, Celebration, and Making Every Day Magical.

Now maybe it is just us, but that title really feels like it tells us everything we need to know about the book without reading it or the blurb. But on her Instagram page, Hewitt took things a bit deeper.

"From my heart came the need to let go of more grief. To celebrate my mom, the love I found and the family we made. To share magic in order to keep magic going on and on for all of us to experience. In my brain I formed the idea and then never stopped believing it could happen. And today in my hands I am holding it. I cried so many sad and happy tears writing this and then again holding it for the first time."

And in the pictures of her holding her book, it is clear that this was and is an emotional journey for the actress-turned-author. Of course, I feel like any time you get to hold your own, published work in your hands it is going to be emotional.

According to the product page for Inheriting Magic on Amazon, Hewitt's new book is set to release on December 10 in hardcover and ebook. The current list price for the book is $16.95 and it is currently available for preorder.

It is nearly impossible to explain exactly what Inheriting Magic is, because it is so much more than just a memoir or a cookbook. And while it is both of those things, it is also a book about going through loss, finding happiness, and even how to put together a beautiful gathering.
