There is something to be said about taking a classic story and giving it a modern refresh. And over the last few years, we have seen a lot of retellings of fairytales, classic literature, and more. From Jane Austen's work being turned into zombie and horror books to fairytales becoming erotic romances, there seems to be a fresh take on the classics all the time. And Peter Pan is no exception.

While we may now be reading more adult stories, there is something about the nostalgia of fairytales that is hard to resist. And if we can combine our more adult stories with those fairytales, all the better.

When it comes to Peter Pan, Captain Hook, the Lost Boys, and Tinkerbell, it feels like there are so many stories that could be told. And luckily for those of us who enjoy Reverse Harem/polyamory romances, we get one such story in Tink and the Lost Boys.

Tink and the Lost Boys is part of a shared series called Once Upon a Harem, and each story is a retelling done with a reverse harem twist. The stories are all standalones that can be read on their own or as part of the series. And in this case, we get to see a much more adult version of not only Peter Pan, but also Tink, and the other Lost Boys.

Tink and the Lost Boys is a romantic retelling of Peter Pan featuring polyamory, a motorcycle club, and more

In order to give this a more modern feel, the Lost Boys are a Motorcycle Club. But at the same time, we are also getting that fantasy vibe since the MC is made up of seven male nymphs, led by none other than Pan himself.

For this story, love is love and that means that it is not just our female lead getting to enjoy the love of her men, we also have the men loving on each other as well. This is the kind of story where love is something worth fighting for and not even archaic laws can keep Pan and his men from getting the woman they love. Now if only she would stop getting in her own way.

Want to know more? Here's a bit from the book blurb to whet your appetite and leave you wanting more.

"Life as a fairy is complicated for Tink. She is governed by a set of archaic laws due to the enchanted blood flowing through her veins, and she is also able to produce pure magic in the form of fairy dust. But her biggest problem? Her wings sprinkle the glittery stuff whenever she is aroused. Given she lives with a bunch of intensely alluring nymphs, Tink is in a constant state of sparkle.

Trouble descends in Neverland in the form of rival gang, The Hooks. The satyrs are the natural born enemies of the nymphs, and when they ride into town seeking Tink and her precious magical blood for their own twisted agenda, Pan and his two lieutenants, Nate and Tao, must step up and claim Tink as their own. It’s hardly a chore – the three nymphs have been in love with the motorbike-riding fairy for years. But does the stubborn Tink feel the same way?"

Honestly, the fact that this is a fairytale retelling with a motorcycle club, fantasy, polyamorous twist is everything we didn't know we wanted in a play off of Peter Pan and Tinkerbell's story. This story has drama, romance, sexy times, and fantasy, all things we love in a good book.

This is one of those stories that I wish was longer. Or maybe if we could get a sequel, I would be thrilled. But if you love sexy fairytale retellings, then this might just be for you.
