Tor Books shares its schedule for San Diego Comic-Con 2024

Tor Books has us wishing for a ticket to SDCC to see these authors.

When most think of San Diego Comic-Con, they're thinking about the big panels from Marvel, DC, Amazon, and much more. However, for readers, there are plenty of panels to enjoy with authors of all kinds.

Most recently, Tor Books shared its upcoming schedule for 2024 and there are plenty of options for readers of all kinds. In particular, Tor Books is really banking on having some great guests in its panels as there are so many great ones to choose from.

For Tor Books, there will be panels beginning on July 25th and ending on July 28th. In addition, authors will be signing books. Once again, there are plenty of amazing authors to choose from and topics to hear about.

If you're a reader who is able to attend, there is no shortage of great panels to check out or authors to meet so let's get into the SDCC schedule from Tor Books.

Tor Books shares its jam-packed schedule for SDCC 2024.

Beginning on July 25th, Tor Books is hosting two panels. The first is called "Don't Stick Me in a Box: Genre Mashup Edition" which is taking place from 10:30 am to 11:30 am in Room 24ABC. The panel is supposed to feature TJ Klune, Chuck Tingle, Seanan McGuire, Sarah Beth Durst, and Olivie Blake. If you're skipping that one, you could go see "Supporting Women's Wrongs" which is going on from 11 am to 12 pm in Room 23ABC. The guests expected to appear are Kiersten White, Ava Reid, Kendare Blake, CJ Leede, Cecy Robson, and Rachel Howell Hall.

It's clear Tor Books is coming out swinging with those amazing panels to start off SDCC. Moving ahead to July 26th, there are two more panels. First is "Romantic Retellings" from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm. This panel is set to feature Christina Lauren, Nikki Payne, Scarlett St. Clair, and Alexene Farol Follmuth. Then there is "Across the Universes with Tor," with the Tor staff. This is set for 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm in Room 29CD.

Moving ahead to Saturday and Sunday, this is when things start to get really packed so let's break down Saturday first.

  • "Comics and Crime:" Set for 10 am to 11 am in Room 4. Guests are set to include John Barber, Andrew Lee Griffith, Frederick L Jones, Judd Winnick, and Alexene Farol Fullmoth.
  • "In Our Villian Era: Tor's Version:" Set for 10:30 am to 11:30 am in Room 10. Guests are to include Jenn Lyons, Julia Vee, Suyi Davies Okunbowa, Moses Ose Utomi, and Ken Bebelle. This panel is being moderated by Ryka Aoki.
  • "How to Bookend a Bestselling Series:" Set for 1:30 pm to 2:30 pm in Room 10. This panel is expected to include Sarah Henning as moderator while Aiden Thomas, Alexandra Bracken, and Tricia Levenseller are the panelists.
  • "Let There Be Dragons:" Set for 3 pm to 4 pm in Room 23ABC. This panel is set to feature Naomi Novik, Ken Bebelle, Jenn Lyons, and Christopher Paolini.

On Sunday, Tor Books is booked and busy as they're hosting another 4 panels so let's break those down.

  • "Take Me Away:" Set for 12 pm to 1 pm in Room 7AB. This panel is poised to feature Rebecca Thorne, TJ Klune, Sara Wolf, Deeba Zargarpur, and Jordan Ifueko.
  • "Page-Turning Thrillers To Keep You Up At Night:" Set for 11 am to 12 pm in Room 24ABC. This panel is to be moderated by Lily Anderson and will feature Sarah Henning, Caitlin Schneiderhan, and Trish Lundy.
  • "There's Something About YA:" Set for 2:30 pm to 3:30 pm in Room 23ABC. This panel will be moderated by Erika Lewis while Terry J. Benton-Walker, Sarah Henning, Tricia Levenseller, and Alexene Farol Follmuth are set to appear.
  • "Deadly Deeds:" Set for 3 pm to 4 pm in Room 4. The panel is expected to feature Lily Anderson, CJ Leede, Alison Saft, Justine Puncella Winans, and Trish Lundy.
