We love being able to snag free books. And thanks to the Stuff Your Kindle Day events, we get to do this multiple times throughout the year. Luckily for us, on January 28, we have our third event of 2025 and the first romance centric event of the year.

Hosted by the Romance Book Lovers, this Stuff Your Kindle Event gives us an impressive 1000 books to choose from across 12 different categories. There is literally something for everyone who love romance.

With so many books to choose from, we thought it made sense to offer up some books to check out on January 28. And of course, much like the options are broken down on the Romance Book Lovers site, we also shared a few books to check out in some of the categories.

If you were wondering, the 12 categories to choose from on Stuff Your Kindle Day are:

  • Steamy Romance
  • Sweet & Clean
  • Small Town Romance
  • Sports Romance
  • Romantic Comedy
  • Dark Romance & Romantic Suspense
  • Paranormal Romance
  • Fantasy Romance
  • Young & New Adult
  • Historical Romance
  • Science Fiction
  • Erotica & Erotic

So what should you check out on this romantic Stuff Your Kindle Day?

On Stuff Your Kindle Day for romance readers on January 28, these books are worth checking out

With 1000 books to choose from this time around, we are barely even scratching the surface of what it available as part of this event. But hopefully, what we suggest acts as a bouncing off point for romance readers looking to stuff their Kindles.

If you are looking for some books in the Steamy Romance category, we have a few suggestions that are not to be missed:

  • Diamonds & Deception by Emery Quinn
  • Night with a SEAL by Cat Johnson
  • Where There's A Will by Anna Sparrows (This is an MM Romance with a decent amount of heat, but I loved the the fact that it was a firefighter romance with the single dad trope mixed in.)
  • Those Three Words by Alexis Winter
  • Shared by Lily Harlem
  • Her Cocky Chef by Avery Shaw

Want a Small Town romance? Check out some of these options for your Kindle:

  • Making Waves by DK Marie
  • Forbidden Cowboy by Lily-Mae Montana
  • Consumed by the Mountain Man by Julia Stone (This might be an instalove romance but it worked.)
  • Beg for You by Sherilee Gray

Sports Romance are definitely on my must-read list right now, so we are here for these books:

  • Zamboni of Love by Cassidy Berg
  • Breaking the Hate by Ember Leigh
  • Hunks Who Puck by Lina George (This is the complete series with some spice.)
  • Skating The Blue Line by Jocelyne Soto

Looking for something suspenseful? Enjoy a good dark romance? Here are some suggestions from this event:

  • Sweet Temptation by Cora Kent
  • Dark Choices by K. Boozer
  • His Obsessions by Quinn Marlowe (This is definitely a dark Romeo and Juliet meets the mafia romance and it definitely gives those dark romance vibes all the way. It should be noted this is the first book in a finished series.)
  • Brutal Beauty by Misti Wilds (This dark romance features why choose and more heat that an inferno.)
  • Auctioned by Cara Dee (This is a dark MM Romance with some definite trigger warnings.)
  • Beautiful Scars by Garnell Wallace

Want something with a paranormal twist? This Stuff Your Kindle event has you covered there too:

  • The Undercover Agent And The Lycan by Hannah Hitchcock
  • How to Train Your Alpha by MM Farmer (This MM romance is an omegaverse offering with heat.)
  • Spell Bound by Samantha Bell (This is a why choose romance with spice.)
  • His Alpha Unlocked by Anna Sparrows (Another MM romance with a surprise preganancy and an instant connection.)
  • Kiss of Fire by Deborah Cooke
  • Jon's Downright Ridiculous Shooting Case by AJ Sherwood (This MM romance is a must read if you love humor in your paranormal romances. And if you want the start of a series that creates a full world of characters.)

Love a good Fantasy Romance? Then here are some to check out:

  • A Heart of Fire and Flame by K.J. Johnson
  • Secrets and Songbirds by N.J. Rodman
  • The Dragons of Rancho Mirage by David Gray (I feel like this book has it all, but without too much angst.)
  • How I Stole the Princess's White Knight and Turned Him to Villainy by AJ Sherwood (Honestly I loved this series. It is funny, it features a necromancer who is more of a marshmallow than a villain and a knight who saves the day.)

If you want it hot and spicy, then the erotica and erotic romance category is the one for you:

  • Sinful Desires by Reba Bale
  • Dark Cravings by Darcy Hayes
  • Tempting the King by Jessa York
  • Our Valentine by Liz Gavin (This spicy why choose is a billionaire romance as well.)
  • Saddle Broke by Darah Lace

Honestly, there are so many books and categories to choose from, that this really will offer something for every reader. And hopefully, you really will be able to Stuff Your Kindle.
