Are you looking for some interesting, last minute reads for Halloween? Are you tired of the witches and ghosts? Then why not snag some werewolf romances instead?

When it comes to paranormal romances, there are a lot of choices on the market. And yet, it often feels like werewolves don't get nearly enough love. And while we have certainly looked at a wide variety of books to read for Halloween, we definitely haven't given nearly enough love to the werewolf romances this year.

As we come to the end of spooky season, we can't help but want a few more books to keep us in the Halloween spirit. And that's where these five books come into the picture. While they may not be all about scares, there is just something about a good werewolf romance that has us wanting more.

5 werewolf romances you will want to read this Halloween

A Werewolf's Guide to Seducing a Vampire

While this is the third book in a series, I actually read it on its own (I didn't know it was part of a series until I finished reading it). And I have to say that this was a fun one. It had more than just the werewolf aspect and the addition of these unique characters added to the overall story in style. As an added bonus, I really appreciated the fact that it was the werewolf in this story that had anxiety, as it gave the character more depth.

Wolf Gone Wild

The first book in a six-book series, Wolf Gone Wild is actually both a book about werewolves and witches. And the fact that these two are almost star-crossed lovers thanks to the FMC's coven makes this story work. Honestly, this was a fun read with plenty of sexy moments and a bit of a mystery as well. It feels like this one has it all, and you want to come back for more of the series after reading this one.

Death is Easy

This is the first book in a three-book series about second chances and what happens when a fated mate rejects their mate. I have to admit that I binge-read this entire series in two days and I enjoyed the overall world and series. In fact, I can't wait to dive into the spin-off books. The fact that our FMC gets a second chance at mates after being rejected over not being good enough to lead a pack is the kind of angsty drama I can't resist. And this book definitely delivered on not only the angst but also the drama. Plus, it helps that there were more than werewolves in this story.

Werewolves Hate Clogs

There is something so fun about this book and it all started with the title. It's definitely on the more lighthearted side, even with monsters and the mafia at the heart of the story. There is some great world-building done in this book and it is the perfect setup for a potential series. It has a lot of humor, while also giving us plenty of sexy times too.

Fated to the Wolf Prince

While this is the first book in a series, it is written in a way that each book gives us a different couple's story. And this one is definitely a bit of a doozy, as we start with a weak wolf who can barely hold her shift being mated to a literal wolf prince. And if that wasn't enough, it seems like our FMC might just be gaining new powers that will change her life even more than that whole mate thing. This book was a fun read and it also delivered on mystery and the promise of something bigger in the overall series.
