People are ready to break out their sweaters and blankets, drink a hot beverage, and enjoy the magic of self-care. So while none of these books will bring the scares many expect in the month of October, they will bring the cozy vibes so many are looking for. Another book about a fall-coded small town, Funny Story might be considered a "beach read" but it truly encompasses the exact cozy vibes I am always looking for during fall. However, this book allows for the reader to slowly fall in love with Waning Bay alongside Daphne, who only moved there because of her ex-fiancé. With a quirky cast of small-town characters and an adorable love story, this book has everything needed for a perfect fall read. And I highly recommend a blueberry pie candle to go with it, just trust me on this.
