Witchy stories to help us go Down the Witch's Road
Ever since watching episode two of Agatha All Along, I have had the song "Down the Witch's Road" stuck in my head. It's haunting and beautiful, and I get chills when they first step onto the mythical road. And with the song playing nonstop in my head since that moment, I have been fixating on what could possibly give me a similar vibe while I wait for the next episode - and these books certainly scratch that itch.
1. Spells to Forget Us by Aislinn Brophy
Every single witch in this chaotic coven has some sort of attitude problem - and Luna would definitely fit in well. While she would be the kind of witch Agatha would recruit, she would also be an asset to this kind of magical challenge. Not to mention, all of the politics she's trying to avoid would hate her doing something like this, much like the Salem Seven seem to hate how Agatha has escaped their clutches.

2. Heartless Hunter by Kristen Ciccarelli
Dystopian fantasy is not a genre you see often - but it is the best way to describe the world of Heartless Hunter. It's a mission to save the world, a witchy superhero with major Batman vibes, and some very questionable characters. This book also focuses on the idea of magic users as outsiders, something everyone in Agatha's makeshift coven feels to some degree. I feel like it gives so much of the same vibes as the series, and will only continue when its sequel comes out next February.

3. The Witch's Heart by Genevieve Gornichec
Marvel is no stranger to Norse mythology, and this book takes what we know and turns it on its head. The Witch's Heart follows Angrboda, known best as the Mother of Monsters. While she is a footnote in most mythology, a surprise as her children are all fathered by Loki, this book gives her a story that shows she shouldn't have been forgotten. We see Angrboda's strength, her love, and her passion - despite the fact she knows her children will be the ones to destroy the world.
