If there's one romance author who captured my heart, it's Kristina Forest. There is something so utterly magnetic about her writing and from the second I picked up The Neighbor Favor, I knew I was going to love it.

The Neighbor Favor is the start of The Greene Sisters series which goes into The Partner Plot and is finally wrapped up with The Love Lyric. The books were published by Berkley with each focusing on one of the Greene sisters as they're working to get their HEA. As far as romance series go, this one was an easy favorite.

The one thing I adore about this series just how different each book is. While the books follow the three sisters, there are so many different tropes and romances explored in each book. There's just something so refreshing about that and seeing how their different romances played out felt so satisfying.

When the series wrapped up in February 2025, I knew I had to rank the entire series from start to finish. Given how much I adored these books and Kristina Forest's writing, I hope this is just the start of her adult romance writing journey.

Let's rank The Greene Sisters series by Kristina Forest.

Before getting into this, this is only my opinion and as someone who loves this series, there was only one book that I didn't love nearly as much as the others. With that being said, it was still a solid read but without further ado, let's get into the ranking.

3. The Love Lyric

Coming in at the #3 spot on my list is the final book in the series: The Love Lyric. Maybe it was all the hype this book got or how much the romance had been set up, but I didn't love this one nearly as much as the others. The Love Lyric follows Iris Greene, the eldest sister who is now a widow as she's trying to put herself back out there. She captures the attention of Angel, an incredibly popular singer who she is quick to shut down.

Eventually, the two end up having to work together and their feelings are more than friendly. This book did an excellent job of touching on grief, giving us insights into these characters, and putting together an undeniably great romance. However, it just didn't grip me as the other two did so sadly, it ended up at the #3 spot on the list. Maybe it was just me, but the first two books were more to my taste.

2. The Partner Plot

Coming in at the #2 spot is none other than Book 2: The Partner Plot. This story follows Violet Greene who is the most outgoing and wild one of the bunch. After a humiliating breakup with her ex, Violet wants to have fun and ends up running into her high-school sweetheart in Vegas. At first, it's just casual but the two end up deciding to say that they're married. We all know it's fake but the feelings between these two are anything but.

The Partner Plot has a little bit of something for everyone. There are some small-town vibes with fake dating and loads of mutual pining. The chemistry between these two is truly off the charts. Once I picked this book up, I couldn't put it down. While this didn't impact my enjoyment at all, pink is my favorite color and this pink cover just called to me. However, it didn't end up making the top spot on my list.

1. The Neighbor Favor

Last but certainly not least, the top spot is going to the first book in the series which is The Neighbor Favor. Sometimes, the first is the best and that's how I feel about The Neighbor Favor. As the start of the Greene Sisters series, we're following Lily who reaches out to her favorite author who is no longer publishing and it goes from there. Lily and Nick go through so much together and grow as people yet have this undeniable connection.

Honestly, Kristina Forest won me over with The Neighbor Favor and I haven't doubted her since. She made me fall in love with these characters and I've never stopped. There is something so utterly incredible about how she talks about books in here. This is just the best start to a romance series and one I know I'll be revisiting when I'm craving a comfort read.

The Greene Sisters series by Kristina Forest is currently out where books are sold.
